If you’ve ever had a frosted lemonade, you know what a treat it is.
The perfect marriage of lemonade and vanilla ice cream, it’s a cool and creamy treat that’s full of zippy flavor.
It’s different from just a frozen lemonade, which is exactly what it sounds like.
But a frosted lemonade incorporates a creaminess that offsets the tang of the lemonade just a bit, and gives it that indulgent feel.
First popularized by Chic-fil-A around ten years ago, the treat was a combination of their famous lemonade and their IceDream dessert.
These days, it’s easier than ever to make your own at home with this Ninja Creami frosted lemonade recipe.
So simple, yet so refreshing, just like all of our favorite Ninja Creami lemon recipes are.
It’s one of my daughter’s favorite Creami creations, and once you try it, you’ll see why!
2-Ingredient Frosted Lemonade in the Ninja Creami
To make this sweet treat, you only need two simple ingredients.
I know, it sounds too good to be true, but it’s not!
You’ll need some lemonade and some Dream Whip mix. That’s it!
If you’re not familiar with Dream Whip, it’s a dry mix that can be used to make whipped topping out of.
When it’s beaten with milk, it turns into something like Cool Whip.
In this case, we’re not going to be whipping it, though–we’re just adding it to the lemonade (I do this with my Ninja Creami root beer ice cream, too).
The result is a creamy, sweet, tangy ice cream that’s perfect for spring and summer. It’s bright and cheery, and super easy to make.

How to Make Ninja Creami Frosted Lemonade
You won’t believe how simple it is to make this copycat Chic-fil-a recipe in ice cream form!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Lemonade
- Dream Whip
How to Make it:
(Full printable recipe card is available below)
Mix the base. In a small mixing bowl or liquid measuring cup, whisk together lemonade and Dream Whip.
You want the Dream Whip to be dissolved well. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container.
Freeze. Close the lid on the pint container and transfer to a level surface in your freezer for at least 24 hours.
Spin. Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Place the container in the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami, then secure the outer bowl lid.
Lock the outer bowl into place in the Ninja Creami machine. Press the Lite Ice Cream button and wait for the cycle to complete.
Check the texture. If the consistency of the ice cream is crumbly, insert it back into the machine and use the Re-spin button.
If it’s still crumbly after that, add a tablespoon of water or lemonade and Re-spin once more.
It should be nice and creamy when it’s ready!
Serve and enjoy!
Notes and Adaptations:
- I used Simply brand lemonade. You can pick up some lemonade from Chic-Fil-A, make your own lemonade, or use whatever brand you like!
- Dream Whip is usually available in the baking aisle of the grocery store.
