Making a Copycat Frosty in the Ninja Slushi Machine

There are plenty of copycat Wendy’s Frosty recipes out there, but many require more ingredients than I usually have on hand.

That’s one reason why I created my Ninja Creami copycat Frosty recipe, and why I was inspired to do the same with my Ninja Slushi machine!

With just two ingredients—FairLife high-protein chocolate milk and some half & half—you can create a Ninja Slushi Frosty that’s almost indistinguishable from the original.

The creamy richness of these ingredients is just so tasty!

It’s essentially a Ninja Slushi milkshake with FairLife chocolate milk, which happens to be very similar to a Frosty.

Combine the ingredients. First, you’ll whisk ingredients together in a large liquid measuring cup until combined.

Next, you’ll pour mixture through the opening in the top of the NInja Slushi machine. Power the machine on and press the Milkshake button.

Freeze. Last, you’ll allow the mixture to churn and freeze until the desired consistency is achieved or the machine beeps to signal its completion.

Pull the lever to dispense into glasses. Serve and enjoy!

Notes and Adaptations:

  • I prefer to mix the ingredients in a liquid measuring cup with a spout, as that makes it easier to pour it into the machine.
  • The length of time it takes for the mixture to freeze will depend on the temperature of the liquid. I prefer to use refrigerated liquids, as they freeze faster. However, in my experience, I’ve found that milkshakes take longer to freeze than slushies do, even with cold ingredients, so keep that in mind.
  • When the machine beeps, if the mixture isn’t as thick as you’d like, you can press the up button to increase the freezing level of the mixture by a notch or two. It will then continue churning and freezing for a bit longer, making the mixture thicker.
  • Because of the need to have adequate sugar in the liquid, reduced sugar chocolate milk will not work for this recipe.
