Every year, Epcot in Walt Disney World hosts the International Flower and Garden Festival. During this event, they offer limited edition food and beverage options that are always a hit.
One of my favorites is the violet lemonade! It’s the perfect combination of fruity and floral, sweet and tart, and it’s perfect for a hot day in the theme park.
But I wanted to be able to enjoy it at home, too! For years, I’ve made homemade violet lemonade, and I’ve even made violet lemonade sorbet. So this year, I decided to try a version in the Ninja Slushi machine.
The resulting Ninja Slushi violet lemonade slush was a hit in my family! Both kids and adults alike enjoyed it and asked me to make more.
It’s super easy to make (you only need two ingredients!), and makes a really nice refreshing beverage on a summer day.

Copycat Epcot Violet Lemonade
Because there are only two ingredients in this recipe, the quality matters even more!
Simply Lemonade is one of my go-to options for lemonade, but if you have a different variety you like, feel free to use it instead. Just don’t use sugar-free lemonade.
For the syrup, I always use the Monin brand violet syrup. The bottle is pretty big, so you can make several batches with one bottle.

How to Make Violet Lemonade Slush
It’s really easy to make this slushie recipe.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Simply Lemonade
- Monin Violet Syrup

How to Make It:
(Full printable recipe card is available below)
Combine ingredients. First, you’ll combine the syrup and lemonade in a large liquid measuring cup with a spout.
Stir it and give it a taste. If you prefer a little more syrup, go ahead and add it according to your liking.
Then pour the liquid into the pour hole at the top of the Ninja Slushi machine.

Freeze. Power on the machine, press the Slush setting, and let it do it’s thing!
Once the machine beeps to signal its completion, you can pull the lever to dispense the slush into glasses and serve.

Notes and Adaptations:
- The amount of time it takes to freeze will depend on the temperature of your ingredients to start (colder ingredients freeze faster), as well as the consistency you prefer.
- Once the machine beeps to signal the mixture is ready, check the consistency. If it’s not as thick as you’d like, you can press the up arrow to increase the freeze level by one or two notches, if desired, then allow it to continue freezing.
- I like to use a liquid measuring cup that has a spout, since it makes it easy to pour ingredients into the machine.

Recommended Equipment:

- Pyrex 4-Cup Measuring Cup – For easy mixing and pouring.
