Making Fruit Whip in the Ninja Creami Swirl
One of the new features on the Ninja Swirl is the “Fruit Whip” button. This is specifically designed for treats like this!
The other option available on the Swirl Creami is the ability to dispense your ice cream as soft serve, giving you those delicious swirls in a cone or a cup.
You don’t have to use the soft serve function, though–this new model can be used much the same as the older models, in that you can simply create scoopable treats if preferred.
So you can dish it out however you prefer!

How to Make Copycat Pineapple Dole Whip in the Ninja Creami Swirl
It’s easy to make this fruity treat.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Canned pineapple chunks in juice
- Sweetened condensed milk

How to Make it:
(Full printable recipe card is available below)
Prep the base. Using a slotted spoon, scoop the pineapple chunks into the pint container, reserving the juice.
In a small bowl or liquid measuring cup, combine 1/2 cup of pineapple juice with sweetened condensed milk, stirring to mix.
Pour this mixture over the pineapple chunks in the pint container, allowing the liquid to fill in the gaps.
If needed, you can add a little bit more pineapple juice to get the liquid up to the max fill line.

Freeze. Close the lid on the container and transfer to a level surface in your freezer. Freeze for at least 24 hours.
Spin. Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Place the pint into the machine’s outer bowl, then secure the outer bowl lid.
Place the outer bowl into the machine, twisting and locking it into place.
If you’re using the Ninja Swirl, choose “Soft Serve” or “Scoopable,” depending on your preference. Then select the Fruit Whip setting.
For the original Ninja Creami, select the Sorbet setting.

Once the mixture has finished processing, remove the pint container from the machine and check the Dole Whip’s consistency.
If it’s crumbly, or if there are icy pieces around the edges, scrape down the sides of the pint, then put it back into the machine and use the Re-spin function.
If you’re enjoying this as a scoopable treat, it’s ready to eat!

Dispense. If you’re making it as a soft serve, remove the pint from the outer bowl and secure the soft serve dispensing lid onto the pint.
Matching the blue line on the dispensing lid with the blue line on the machine, insert the pint container and twist it into place.
Twist the white base of the pint container until it’s in the open position, then pull the lever on the machine to dispense the Dole Whip into a cone or bowl.

When you’re finished dispensing, press the Retract button, then remove the pint from the machine.
Serve and enjoy!

Notes and Adaptations:
- You can make this recipe in an original Ninja Creami or a Ninja Creami Swirl. However, you will only be able to dispense as soft serve with the Ninja Swirl.
- If you’d like, you can whisk a tablespoon of vanilla instant pudding mix into the pineapple juice and sweetened condensed milk mixture, which will make it a little bit creamier.
