Fans of the Disney theme parks know all-too-well how delicious the iconic Dole Whips are!
These refreshing, swirled fruity treats are the perfect way to cool down after spending a hot day in the park.
I’ve shared my homemade copycat versions of the pineapple dessert, including a protein Dole Whip and a Ninja Creami Dole Whip made with the soft serve swirl.
I even have a recipe for making a Dole Whip in the Ninja Slushi machine–so it’s safe to say I adore this Disney treat.
Although pineapple is the flavor of the classic Dole Whip, Disney does sometimes offer additional flavors as well. One of the favorites among guests is the strawberry pineapple version.
So I knew I had to make a Ninja Creami strawberry Dole Whip to rival that of the parks–and it was SO easy!
All you need is three ingredients to “whip” up a sweet treat that will leave you feeling like you’re on vacation.

Strawberry Pineapple Dole Whip in the Ninja Creami
Because I wanted the flavor of the fruit to really shine through, I opted to use fresh strawberries and canned pineapple (plus its juice).
Then instant vanilla pudding gives the hint of vanilla flavor found in the original version, plus helps it to have a slightly creamier texture.
Now, if you have the Ninja Creami Swirl machine (read my honest Ninja Swirl review), you can dispense this using the soft serve function, so it will have that iconic swirl.
I kept mine in scoopable form, and it was just as delicious!

How to Make Strawberry Dole Whip
It’s easy to make this Disney-inspired treat.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Canned pineapple chunks in juice
- Fresh strawberries
- Instant vanilla pudding mix
- Sugar (optional)

How to Make it:
(Full printable recipe card is available below)
Combine ingredients. In a large liquid measuring cup or a small mixing bowl, combine the pineapple chunks, sliced strawberries, pineapple juice, and pudding mix.

Blend and freeze. Use an immersion blender to puree the ingredients together. Give the mixture a taste.
If necessary, add a bit of sugar and stir to incorporate, then pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container.
Close the lid on the container and transfer it to a level surface in your freezer for at least 24 hours.

Spin the sorbet. Remove the pint from the freezer and take off the lid. Insert the pint into the outer bowl, closing the outer bowl lid.
Place the outer bowl into the machine and lock it into place. Press the Sorbet button (or Fruit Whip button on the Creami Swirl) and allow the cycle to complete.

Re-spin if needed. Check the Dole Whip’s consistency. If it looks crumbly, put it back into the machine and use the Re-spin button to cycle it again.
Once it’s smooth, it’s ready to serve!

Notes and Adaptations:
- Sugar is optional and can be added according to your personal preference. The sweetness of your strawberries will play into this as well.
- You can also use monk fruit sweetener instead of sugar, if preferred.
- I used regular instant pudding, but you can use sugar-free as well.
