Making strawberry sorbet in the Dash mug couldn’t be easier.

With just two ingredients—fresh strawberries and some sugar (or monkfruit sweetener, if preferred)—you’ll have a delicious, homemade frozen treat in about 20 minutes.

You just blend, pour, and let the machine do the work!

It’s the perfect quick dessert when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen.

Want to mix things up? Try adding a squeeze of lemon or lime juice for a little tartness, or stir in a splash of vanilla for extra depth of flavor.

If you like a creamier texture, blend in a bit of coconut milk or yogurt before churning.

You can even swap in other berries—raspberries, blueberries, or a mix—for a fun twist.

How to Make It:

Blend the ingredients. First, you’ll blend fresh strawberries and sugar in a food processor until smooth.

Pour and churn. Next, you’ll remove My Mug bowl from the freezer (it needs to have been freezing for at least 24 hours).

Affix the dasher paddle to the My Mug lid, then attach the lid to the mug bowl. Press the power button to turn it on.

With the dasher spinning, gradually pour the strawberry mixture through the pour hole, into the bowl. I like to use a measuring cup with a spout for this step, so I don’t make a mess.

Allow the mixture to churn for about 20 minutes, or until soft-serve consistency is reached.

Serve. Last, you’ll remove the lid from the mug and serve.

Notes and Adaptations:

  • If your strawberries aren’t very ripe, you may need to add a little bit more sugar. You can always taste the mixture after pureeing to see if it needs more or not, then adjust according to taste.
  • The resulting sorbet will be the consistency of a soft-serve. Enjoy as-is, or pop the mug into the freezer for a couple of hours to solidify further to a firmer, more scoopable texture.
  • If you have the larger Dash My Pint machine, you should be able to simply double the recipe ingredients and churn for 20-30 minutes.
