I’ve been making homemade ice cream for many years now, and I’ve tried a wide variety of methods.

My very first foray into ice cream making was with a traditional ice cream maker, which used a freezer bowl attachment and dasher for my stand mixer.

The bowl would be frozen for at least 24 hours, then the machine would churn a liquid mixture in the frozen bowl until it was the consistency of soft-serve ice cream. It worked like a charm!

So when I learned about the Dash My Mug (and Dash My Pint) ice cream makers, I was intrigued! They worked on the same premise as a traditional machine, only smaller.

I purchased the Dash My Mug set a couple of years ago and have been using it ever since. I love that it makes small batches of ice cream that can be eaten right out of the mug.

To give you some inspiration, I’m sharing my favorite Dash ice cream recipes below.

If you have a Dash My Mug, these recipe are already scaled for that machine. If you’re using a Dash My Pint machine, just double the recipe. Easy peasy!
