Ninja Creami Blue Moon Ice Cream

Enjoy the Midwestern staple by making blue moon ice cream in the Ninja Creami!

This Ninja Creami blue moon ice cream is easy to make, with its vibrant hue and classic fruity flavor.

Ingredients

– Milk – Vanilla instant pudding mix – Heavy cream – Red raspberry extract

Dissolve The Pudding Mix

Combine the milk and pudding mix in a small mixing bowl or large liquid measuring cup. Whisk well until the pudding mix is dissolved. Next, you’ll add the heavy cream, red raspberry extract, and lemon extract. Add in a few drops of blue food coloring, then stir to combine.

You’ll need to continue adding blue food coloring, a little at a time, until your desired color is reached. I ended up using about 15-20 drops. Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container, being careful not to exceed the max fill line.

Close the lid on the container, then transfer it to a level surface in your freezer for at least 24 hours.

Spin

Remove the container from the freezer and take off the lid. Place it in the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami, securing the outer bowl lid. Lock the outer bowl into place in the Ninja Creami machine, then press the Ice Cream button. Allow the cycle to complete.

Re-Spin If Needed

Check the consistency of the ice cream. If it appears crumbly or powdery, place it back into the machine and press the Re-spin button.
